I'm sure and I hope hammerdavey boy won't give a shit about this thread now.
His daughters future is his priority and I think he'll help keep her on the right track.

Yes you do have to be talented to win X factor sometimes more so than famous singers who have hit the dizzy heights of big time fame, and I also see X factor very different to the other stupid shows you mentioned that require no talent at all.
The show and set up are the problem it is not set up for the public to simply enjoy as was Opportunity knocks, it is absolutely set up to create Superstars almost like a factory line that is wrong they get too involved and do not allow the artiste to have much input , that is what I hate.
Louisa has basically just won what I see as the Olympic alternative for singing Gold medal and now she has to promote this Christmas single and carry on working it is going to be brutal and difficult God help her.
I hope to God she can write that is the only way she will gain some control over her talent being exploited.

Hairy - I wouldn't say the finalists do it just to try and gain fame, they do it to try and pursue a career in the music industry which is notoriously hard to break in to.
I think reality TV, Big Brother, TOWIE, Wags, or generally getting your tits out etc are better examples where people seek fame for fames sake.
